This 24 foot by 50 foot garden is covered by a cloth screen mesh supended from an
arched, tubular steel framework. Attached to that is a covered concrete patio.
Butterflies and small exotic finches were turned loose in the garden. The previous
owners, who built it, used it as a small outdoor wedding chapel.
Even after the last several years of neglect the garden is doing amazingly well. Since
it is somewhat overgrown and the structure needs repair, it will take some work and time to get it back into its
original condition.
Our plan is to re-cover the patio portion with rain proof barrier and turn both the patio
& garden into a library type "waiting room" for the Mom, Dad, Grandpa, or Grandma that doesn't want to participate
in the more strenuous ranch activities.
Here they can sit back and relax in the garden while reading a magazine off the rack
or a novel off one of the book shelves.
Almost like a miniature "Garden of Eden".
The Garden will be in full operation in the Spring of 08
