Come watch
us grow.
Phase I, the clean up
and re-fencing of the ranch, has been completed.
We are now entering Phase
II, the rehab of buildings for the "Trail's End Stage Stop," to be completed by Oct. 1, '07, and the
Class "A" Auction House and Barn to be finished by Dec. 15. These new facilities will accommodate the sale of anything
from Fine Art and Jewelry and Amish Arts, Crafts and Furniture, to farm auctions for livestock and
critters and specialty auctions for estate items, real estate and consignments. Also included is rebuilding
the ranch's cross fence, the Auction Oval Track (to show horses before sales), the outdoor horse arena, a reception
area and gift shop.
Phase III will be the rehab of smaller buildings on the ranch for the sale of
ranch-raised produce from our own garden, cheeses, ice cream and popcorn, homemade candy, jelly and jams as well
as Amish arts & crafts, Ranch arts & crafts, furniture, etc. This work, completion of the
five Western Paint Ball Courses and reworking some of the wagon roads and horse trails should be done by early spring
'08.
Phase IV may be the
construction of a Log Lodge for overnight guests who want to spend several days at the ranch or tour the local area.
If this lodge is constructed it will be in '09.

When the M
& M Ranch is completed it will be reminiscent of an 1800's frontier town
that could be found in western
Wisconsin at the time. Remember,
that was the West then, along with places like Kansas City, Sedalia, Independence
and St. Joe, MO, Sioux City, IA, Prairie du Chein and La Crosse, WI. These were the starting points for trails that later led
to towns like Dodge City, KS, Alliance and Norfolk, NE, Dead Wood, SD and St. Paul, MN.
That was the
West we read about with outlaws such as the James brothers, the Younger brothers and others. Those men
moved there to live and hide in the wilderness. Most lands to the west of Wisconsin at the time were considered Indian
Territory and wilderness.
So step back
in time at the M & M Ranch & Outfitters and enjoy a Day in the Old West and a Day in the Country.
